MOPS KIDS is the childcare that is connected with MOPS at the MACC. Our MOPS KIDS program provides loving care for children aged four months through kindergarten. While mothers attend the MOPS meetings, the children enjoy a program designed to meet their needs. The children are divided by age and are involved in planned activities that provide social growth and spiritual enrichment, including a curriculum base for preschool age children. The children have story time, lots of play time and enjoy a small snack. In addition, the older children do crafts.
We realize that this may be a new experience for your child and that he or she may have trouble separating from you. You can take comfort in knowing that your child will have nurturing care. During the meeting should your child need you, you can rest assured you will be contacted.
For your child's time in MOPS KIDS, please plan to bring a small, labeled bag containing diapers, wipes, bottles/cups, and anything else your child might need for the morning. Please see our Guidelines and Sick Child Policy pages for more specific information regarding MOPS KIDS.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact Alicia Walters, our MOPS KIDS Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
